With more than 230 domestic and foreign aerospace companies invested and RM15.3 billion in total revenue generated as of 2022, the industry is projected by 2030 to contribute revenue of RM20.4 billion for MRO, RM21.2 billion for aero-manufacturing, and RM13.6 billion for engineering and design services.

As part of the growth of the avionics sector within the aero-manufacturing industry, this Panel looks to understand the commitment and direction of both industry and government stakeholders and the requirements to grow the capabilities and competencies to achieve the 2030 objectives and beyond.
