Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA) was launched on 28 March 2016, officiated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry.

A mark of solidarity, MAIA is a non-Governmental organisation that functions to support and represent the voice of all Malaysian companies in the aerospace sector in our efforts to develop Malaysia’s status as the aerospace hub in Asia. Currently our members consist of industry players from multiple sectors such as Aero-manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO), Drone & UAM, Academia and Research & Technology.

We welcome more aerospace related companies in Malaysia to come and join our association in supporting the advancement of Malaysia's aerospace industry in making Malaysia as the aerospace hub in Asia.

Madam Chua is the first female GM of the Collins Aerospace Malaysia MRO site. To manage MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft parts) activities with total of 111 employees in Malaysia serving global fleet customers. Accountable in managing site activities providing necessary resources and ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements. Strategic planning for new product supporting growth of the business.
Prior to Collins Aerospace, she was the Head of Supply Chain – Engineering & Maintenance
Division in Malaysia Airlines Berhad for approximately 2 years managing the materials procurement, component repairs and warehouse of aircraft parts. 6 months tenure with
Leonardo Helicopter as Logistic Manager, 9 years tenure with Collins Aerospace
Malaysia as Supply Chain Manager, 6 years tenure with Collins Aerospace Malaysia as
Accountant, and other manufacturing, timber, manpower supply company as Accounts
Assistant and Executive.

Dato’ Nonee, born on 26th December 1971, is one of the most respected and leading experts in the Malaysian Aerospace Industry, with over 20 years of experience in aerospace, defense and international security. She is most noted for her Visionary Leadership, steering Global Turbine Asia (GTA) to become a market leader domestically and a highly acclaimed regional authority in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) sector. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom in 1996. As a law graduate, she completed her Barrister-at-Law degree at Lincoln’s Inn, United Kingdom, and was called to the Malaysian BAR in 1999. After 5 years of practicing, she decided to venture full-time into the aerospace and defense industry.
